Diatonic has an extremely
varied repertoire consisting of early music, anthems, larger
classical works, madrigals, spirituals, folk song arrangements
and popular songs.
Much of our repertoire consists
of short unaccompanied pieces, but we occasionally perform larger
works such as the Bach Magnificat, and Mozart's Mass
in C Minor. We have also led 'from scratch' performances
of great choral works, including one of Mozart's Requiem
in All Saints Parish Church, Leamington on the 200th anniversary
of the composer's death.
Diatonic Chamber Choir is affiliated to Making
Music, the National Federation of Music Societies which represents
and supports amateur vocal, instrumental and promoting societies.
